How many people will be in the group?

We keep our groups small for a more personalized experience. Shared tours include up to 13 guests, while private groups can have up to 14 people including the driver.
What type of vehicle is used?
We use high-roof Ford Transit vans that comfortably seat 14 passengers. Each van has large windows for sightseeing and is equipped with air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort.
Is a park pass included?
Yes, your national park admission is already included in the tour cost. This allows you access to all stops along the Icefields Parkway route.
What should I wear and bring with me?
Dress in layers to adapt to mountain weather. Bring comfortable walking or hiking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a refillable water bottle, and optionally, bear spray.
What kind of weather should I expect?
Mountain weather is highly unpredictable. You may experience sun, rain, fog, or even snow in a single day. We operate in all conditions unless safety is at risk, so be prepared for anything!
Will there be opportunities for hiking?
Yes, if the group is up for it! Your guide may include short walks or hikes like Mistaya Canyon or the Toe of Athabasca Glacier. If hiking isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of stops to enjoy.
Can I buy food along the way?
You can usually purchase lunch en route, but we recommend bringing a packed lunch and snacks since options can be limited and time-sensitive.
Is this tour accessible for wheelchairs or limited mobility?
Some viewpoints are accessible, but our tour vehicles do not have wheelchair lifts. Guests with mobility concerns may find certain stops challenging to access fully.
When is the best time to join this tour?
July and August are the most popular months for warm weather and turquoise lakes. For fewer tourists, consider June or mid-September to October.
Will I see any wildlife?
Possibly! Keep an eye out for bears, elk, deer, and bighorn sheep. Always view from a safe distance and never feed or approach wildlife. Your guide will share interesting facts along the way.
Can I take lots of photos during the tour?
Definitely. The Icefields Parkway is packed with postcard-perfect stops. You’ll have plenty of time to take photos and soak up the views at iconic lakes, glaciers, and mountain vistas.

Traveling with Kids or Pets?

Child Safety Seats:
We want to make sure your little ones are safe and comfortable during the ride. If your child is 2 years or older, or weighs at least 40 lbs (18 kg), we can provide a forward-facing safety seat—just let us know in advance! For younger or smaller children (under 2 years old or under 40 lbs), a rear-facing infant seat is required, and we kindly ask that you bring your own.

If you're planning to bring a car seat, or would like us to provide one, please let us know ahead of time. You're welcome to leave the seat in the shuttle while you're exploring the lakes.

Bringing Pets?

Small pets: Absolutely! If your furry friend fits comfortably in a carry-on style cage and can stay on your lap, they’re more than welcome to join the ride.

Service animals: All service animals are welcome, no matter their size. Just give us a heads-up before your trip so we can be fully prepared to welcome them.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens—we get it! If you need to cancel or make changes to your private tour or transfer, just let us know at least 7 days in advance and we’ll happily offer a full refund or help reschedule your booking.

If it’s less than 7 days before your tour or transfer, we’re unable to provide a refund, and no-shows will also be non-refundable. For any special cases, check your confirmation email for details specific to your booking.
